A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings, located in Kent, WA. This position focuses on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services within an elementary school environment for the contract school year (CSY) duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide individualized occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement therapy plans that support students academic and functional success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate supportive learning environments.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and school policies.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to program development within the school setting.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and credentials.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary education settings.
- Strong understanding of educationally relevant occupational therapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and families effectively.
